Trip of a Lifetime! You want to Come?!

Having fun!

Do you get to travel? How do you travel? With family, friends or perhaps solo? Do you enjoy meeting new people? Do you come home feeling refreshed and excited?

Well I just got back from a trip to Mexico, and this was the trip of a lifetime, and I want you to come with me on the next one! Let me tell you why it was so special.

First, I have been blessed to have a dad that travelled a lot and encouraged us to do the same. So I have grown up on the move, either to visit him or to go on fun vacations. I have visited Europe a couple times, gone to Egypt, South East Asia, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Jamaica, Cuba, many places in the states, and Mexico now 5 times. I do NOT say this to brag... but to tell you that I have done a lot and this trip stands alone for a few reasons.

1. Know your WHY!

I made a promise to myself that I would get more people on a company trip after experiencing my first one last year. We were spoiled beyond belief on that previous trip to Cancun and as much as I loved partaking in the joy, I longed for my colleagues that I share this journey with to be able to experience it as well.

And guess what?!?! Four of my teammates earned the trip this year!! I was able to go on the trip with my team!!! Two of the ladies had never been to Mexico before, ever, and were soo excited. Just hearing their questions and anticipation got me fired up to go and start focusing on the trip instead of my guilt around leaving my daughter!

Seeing them enjoy the ALL EXPENSE paid trip was like magic!! And I mean ALL EXPENSE: room service, drinks, food, deserts, EVERYTHING was FREE!! For you and a guest, flights too, right from our small town!

Getting clear with you motivation, your why, will fuel you to move through any obstacles to achieving your goal!

2. Connecting

The people I got to meet and with whom I was able to reconnect. I LOVE PEOPLE! At home I am working on getting out more with the kids, some days are more challenging than others. But in Mexico I was free to come and go as I pleased, just me, no excuses, and I went! I mingled and chatted up new people and it was a blast. There was also a Halloween party one night and I was Poppy from Trolls, it was quite the hit!

On the second night my sister and I went to a beautiful Thai restaurant. Our server was amazing, I asked him for recommendations because I believe a server knows whats best on the menu. He brought me out the most incredible appetizers followed by a delicious main course. I was so excited about it I ended up telling our neighbour to the right... then the neighbour to the left!! My sister told me after that someone said, "She knows everyone!!" She was like "No she works here!"

As if I had some stake it making sure everyone enjoyed their food and experience. But guess what, this is how I live life!!! Full of joy, excitement and a love to SHARE!!!

3. Common Goal = Magic

We are not like the rest! I noticed this the first time I flew to our national convention. My sister and I and my baby (4 months old) few 3 flights to our convention. As we kept getting closer to our destination the people kept getting nicer. On the final flight I started asking people, "Are you with Nerium?" 99% of them said, "YES!!".

We are a super happy, super giving, kind group of people. The company's moto is "Make People Better" and this is what we do. We are living life to the fullest and striving to help others do the same (my mission).

So yes it was a beautiful room, amazing food, breathtaking views, incredible service, but the BEST BEST part of the whole trip was the people. Seeing my friends earn a trip like this, seeing them living the realization that they deserved to be treated like royalty, connecting with people with a shared passion and helping them to have an incredible experience, and lastly seeing how a group of people with the same vision and goal can really create the most incredible impact = the most priceless trip a girl could ask for!

So if you are looking to do more traveling, do more connecting, surround yourself with positive, happy and motivated people who's mission is making a difference then maybe we need to talk!! Believing you can do it is the first step!! I know its in you to doing incredible things, now you need to believe and take that leap of faith.

Thank you to all those who were on the trip with me, my hubby and family for taking care of the kids, for the company staff and leadership who make dreams come true, and to everyone who has believed in, encouraged and supported me through this journey!! And for those of you wondering, Emery is still breastfeeding like a champ, and I am so grateful!

Sincerely,

Rikki
